I CANT EVEN WRITE AS ROSE ANYMORE OMFG
IM REPLYING TO THESE THREADS LIKE NO WHERE DID THE ROSE IN MY MIND GOOOOOO
“I know but I almost…” he couldn’t even say it out loud. “I can’t lose you. That was the dream. It was like Gallifrey all over again…but with you…and I can’t let the happen. But how will I even keep you safe from something like that, if I can’t keep you safe from me?” He asked, trying to allow her soothing hands to calm him.
At his words, she looked stricken, taking his face in her hands so she could look him in the eye. “John, listen to me. That was not you, nor will it ever be you again. If it ever were to happen, I know what to do now. I’ve seen much worse than this, dealt with much worse, but I’m still okay! You’re going to be alright, I promise.”
His smile only widened more at the blonde’s confession. He was doing all right so far. He rocked on the balls of his feet at the mere thought. “Well, suppose I should try to keep doing what I’m doing, then.” He nudged her carefully in return. “So, how’ve you been, eh? Doing well, I hope?”
Rose let out a small laugh at his reaction, her cheeks matching her name for a moment before she brushed it off with another laugh. “Just be you, this Doctor. No fun not being yourself, eh? I’ve been doin’ alright, yeah, workin’ at the shop. Martha and Mickey got married and Mum’s had her baby.”

The Doctor smiled widely when she bumped into him and he bumped back. “So how’s ol’ Jackie?” He asked, laughing “Still… how she was before?”
“Still the woman who slapped then snogged you, spending her days talking on the phone by the telly sipping tea? ‘asn’t changed a bit!” she laughed, shaking her head. “What about you? What ‘ave you been doing?”

“Yup!” Ruby practically chirped, already thinking of all the places she would point out to the blonde first and foremost. “And maybe along the way you can tell me some of your space adventure stories?”
“Of course, seems like a decent exchange! Shall we go?”

The Doctor raised his eyebrows, skeptically looking at Rose. “Oh no you don’t,” he whispered to himself as she slipped through the door of the TARDIS. He smirked, glancing at the door for a second before going through it himself. he couldn’t quite tell where he was until he looked up: he’d landed them on top of the Eiffel Tower.
When Rose stepped out of the TARDIS, her eyes widened as she looked around the surroundings. Where had he landed them now? She walked over a bit and looked down, seeing metal beams stretching what looked like millions of feet, ants crawling on the ground. She spun around and rose a brow at him. “Really, Doctor?”

“Oh yes, I can hear it now In a tone of panic as we try to prevent another slitheen attack on London- quite quaint, aint it?” Chuckling softly against Rose’s temple, the Doctor reached down to her hips to bring her closer. He loved how warm she tended to be, always able to keep the Lord happy and soft in her embrace. “Hm, don’t have many of those. I mean, i’ve only ever really danced with you….What’s tha’ say about my love life?” The couch creaked under them when he shifted slightly.
“Oh, you’d like that, wouldn’t you?” she giggled, readjusting her position, entangling their legs as she was brought even closer to him. She laid her head on his shoulder, pressing a small kiss there. At his question she peeked up at him through her eyelashes, her honey eyes darting towards his lips for just a moment. “It means I’m glad,” she murmured. “I have no competition.”
John nodded and wiped his eyes with the back of his hand in a single sweep. The dream was just so close to home, and the effects of that thing could have cost him her. “I just…I could have…” he could barely speak. “Nevermind. It’s over now…” He replied, shaking his head and forcing a weak smile. “Look at me…being a right mess…I should be the one helping you out…”
“Why would I need any help? I didn’t just have a horrible nightmare, nor was I possessed Just let me help you.” Rose fussed, lightly slapping his chest before running her fingers comfortingly through his hair again. “You’re just as stubborn as he was,” she muttered, shooting him a cheeky smile.
“Oh that’s alright, Rose. Come one, ol’ girl.” He ran his hand along the console “Let’s see where we should take Rose.” He slammed the lever down.

Rose let out a loud laugh as she grabbed onto the console’s railings, looking around the TARDIS once more. How she’d missed her second home, her preferred home. She looked over at the Doctor with a large grin, bumping him and laughing again.
